Medical travel & tourism from Nigeria

World-class treatment abroad,
guided from home

If your condition needs specialised treatment that isn't available locally — or you would simply prefer to be treated overseas — Doc2Go coordinates medical travel from Nigeria (what many call medical tourism) with reputable hospitals in Turkey, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, the UAE and beyond. We don't perform the procedures. We make sure the right people do — and that you're looked after before you leave and long after you return.

Doctor-led, not agent-led

Your case is reviewed by Doc2Go physicians — not a travel agent — before anyone recommends a hospital.

We coordinate — we don't operate

Every procedure is performed by the receiving hospital's specialists. Our job is getting you to the right ones, safely.

One medical file, home & abroad

Your records travel with you and come back with you — so your follow-up in Nigeria continues without gaps.

Why Doc2Go

One brand. One continuous
patient journey.

Most medical travel agents disappear at the airport. Doc2Go is a full healthcare ecosystem — so the same team that knows your history prepares your referral, and the same team welcomes you home.

1

Primary care

Home visits, telemedicine and corporate healthcare in Abuja. Your Doc2Go doctors know your baseline — which makes every next step safer.

2

Specialist coordination

When you need more than a GP, we find the right Nigerian specialist, arrange second opinions and book the appointment for you.

3

International medical concierge

For conditions that need care abroad, we coordinate referrals to reputable hospitals overseas — records, hospital acceptance, costs, visa letters and travel logistics.

4

Post-treatment care

Back in Nigeria, we run your follow-up: review appointments, medication management, home nursing and rehabilitation coordination.

5

Ongoing support & supplies

Medical equipment and supplies delivered to your door, and a care team one call away — for life, not just one trip.

How it works

From consultation
to coming home

1

International treatment consultation

A Doc2Go physician reviews your records and scans, discusses your goals and gives you an honest opinion — including whether travelling is actually necessary. Sometimes the right answer is a Nigerian specialist, and we'll tell you so.

2

Second opinions & options

We obtain specialist opinions from suitable hospitals abroad and present you a shortlist — typically two to three accredited centres — with indicative costs, timelines and what to expect at each.

3

Referral & acceptance

Once you choose, we handle the referral: medical reports translated and transferred, treatment plan confirmed, and the hospital's official acceptance and cost letter issued for your visa application.

4

Travel & admission

Visa support letters, flight and accommodation guidance, airport pickup arrangements and a clear admission-day plan — for you and any accompanying family member.

5

Care while you're away

We stay in contact with you and the hospital during treatment, keep your family informed with your consent, and collect every report for your Nigerian medical file.

6

Home again — and still cared for

Back in Abuja, your recovery continues with Doc2Go: follow-up reviews, medication management, home nursing and rehabilitation coordination, exactly as your surgeons prescribed.

Questions

Medical travel, answered honestly

No — and we're upfront about that. All procedures are performed by the receiving hospital and its specialists. Doc2Go is your medical coordinator: we review your records, arrange referrals and second opinions, help with logistics, and manage your follow-up care when you return to Nigeria.

We shortlist internationally accredited hospitals with a strong track record in your specific condition and real experience treating international patients. You receive the options with indicative costs and decide — we never lock you to a single hospital.

You pay Doc2Go a transparent consultation and coordination fee, agreed upfront before any work begins. Hospital and treatment bills are paid by you directly to the hospital — your treatment money never passes through us.

It depends on the procedure, the country and the hospital — cardiac, orthopaedic (knee or hip) or transplant surgery in India or Turkey can cost a fraction of UK or UAE prices. Before you commit to anything, we give you a written shortlist of accredited hospitals with indicative treatment costs so you can compare like for like.

Most commonly Turkey, India, the United Kingdom, Germany and the UAE — and sometimes Egypt, South Africa or Thailand — depending on your condition, budget and how quickly you need to be seen. We match the destination to your case, never the other way round.

It is when it's done properly — most of the risk comes from booking blind through an untrained agent. Doc2Go is physician-led: a doctor reviews your records first, we refer only to internationally accredited hospitals, your medical file travels with you, and we coordinate your follow-up care back in Nigeria so nothing falls through the cracks.

For most conditions, two to six weeks from records review to admission, depending on the hospital, visa processing and urgency. Genuinely urgent cases are prioritised and can move faster.

This is where Doc2Go is different. Your team receives your discharge summary and continues your care at home: follow-up reviews, medication management, home nursing and rehabilitation coordination in Abuja — the same ecosystem that cared for you before you left.

Considering treatment abroad?

Start with one honest conversation. If you don't need to travel, we'll tell you. If you do, we'll walk the whole road with you — there and back.
