Operating terms

How the programme runs

1

Coverage hours and response commitment

Coverage hours and the response commitment for each category of request are defined in your service schedule and agreed before contract, rather than published as a blanket figure. Commitments are set against the clinician roster assigned to your account.

2

Escalation path

Each account has a defined escalation route: assigned clinician, then clinical lead, then coordination of ambulance transport and admission to a receiving hospital where required. Escalation contacts are issued to your nominated administrator at onboarding.

3

Confidentiality

Clinical records belong to the patient. Doc2Go does not disclose an individual's clinical information to an employer without that individual's consent. Organisational reporting is provided in aggregate, or with explicit consent where an individual report is required for insurance or HR purposes.

4

Account structure and billing

Programmes run on a retainer account with agreed billing terms. Attendances are itemised so that costs can be attributed to a department, a cost centre, or an individual insurance claim. Payment is accepted in NGN, USD, GBP and EUR.

5

Governance

Clinician roster details, MDCN registration numbers and indemnity documentation are provided with the proposal and are available to procurement on request.

Scope is set per organisation. Yes, where the service schedule provides for it. Organisations commonly extend cover to spouses and children, and to visiting staff or delegations for the duration of their stay in Abuja.

Doc2Go issues a medical report for each attendance, and can provide reporting to the organisation for insurance and HR purposes within the limits of patient confidentiality and the employee's consent. Clinical records remain confidential to the patient and are not shared with an employer without consent.
